The Blue Hole
One for the bucket list, this 1,000 feet wide hole is one of the top ten places in the world to dive. Over 400 foot deep, bull sharks, hammerheads and brilliant marine life frequent here. A vast royal-blue circle contrasting its shallow surroundings, making the view from the sky spectacular. If you're brave you can jump from a plane over it, take a helicopter tour or grab a tank and dive these famous waters.
Xunantunich Mayan Ruins
The most impressive of all the Mayan ruins is El Castillio at Xunantunich. Climb the steps and weave through the small crumbling caverns, stumbling upon ancient Mayan carvings along the way. Reach the top and you'll get a breath-taking view of Guatemala in the distance.
Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary
The world's first Jaguar reserve famous for its gushing waterfalls, exotic rainforest trails and abundant wildlife. Hike the jungle trails, swim in the fresh waters, tube down the rivers or go on the hunt for wildlife, a day at this rainforest is sure to be an adventure.
