Haiti. When you hear the word you think of the hundreds of thousands of people who lost their lives in an earth-shattering quake in 2010. You remember the horrifying images scattered across the media, showing heart-wrenching poverty, homeless families and streets alight with smouldering fires.

Five years on, Haiti, despite the constant negative media coverage, is making a come back. Of course you won't see the dozens of smiling faces or the thriving, colourful streets on the news. Sadly, the beautiful hotels, sprawling mountains and endless beaches aren't consistently conveyed to the world in the international media, so we've captured it for you.
