5 Detox Water Recipes To Get You in Shape

Try out some of these detoxifying, refreshing, fruit-infused waters to boost your metabolism this summer and have you bursting with energy and ready for the beach. Each drink recipe will flush toxins from the body, help shed inches from your waistline and have you well on your way to a healthier, happier you.

1.  Strawberry & Kiwi Vitamin Water

This detox water is great for banishing blotches and keeping your skin clear and hydrated. Packed with vitamins, it looks and taste good, and it's great for your energy. 

  • 1 Cup Strawberries
  • Rosemary Sprigs
  • Filtered Water
  • Pinch Of Salt
  • 2 Cups Of Watermelon

Mix together strawberries and the rosemary together in a bowl. Add them and the watermelon in a pitcher or tall mason glass. Pour over filtered water, stir lightly and refrigerate for a few hours before drinking.

2. Apple & Cinnamon Detox Water

Not only does this delicious water not have any calories, it’s great for slimming down and ridding your body of harmful toxins and will boost your metabolism. You will need a gallon sized pitcher filled with filtered water and you can refill the pitcher three or four times using the same apples and cinnamon sticks. 

  • 1 Apple thinly slice
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 3 Cups of ice


Drop the apple slices in the bottom of the pitcher and then the cinnamon stick, cover with ice and place in the fridge for 10 minutes before serving.

3. Watermelon-Mint Spritzer

Perfect for summer days when you need a little pick-me-up, or for that pre-vacation body prep, this watermelon-mint spritzer hits the spot without even trying.

  • 2 Cups Watermelon, Cubed
  • 1 Cup Of Fresh Mint Leaves
  • Filtered Water

Put the cubed watermelon and mint leaves in a bowl and mix. Put some ice cubes in a tall glass or pitcher and pour in the watermelon and mint. Stir lightly and chill for 1-2 hours. Add a lemon slice to garnish.

4.  Apple & Pomegranate Infused Water

Apples are full of vitamins, minerals, & tons of other great things that help to detox.

  • 1 Cup apple chunks
  • 1 Cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 Cup ice cubes

Put your water into a bowl or pitcher that you’ll be using. To break into the pomegranate, slice in half then give a squeeze into the water. Peel out the inner white membrane a bit then turn each half over into the water. add the apple chunks, refrigerate for 10 minutes then serve.

 

1. Add a few teaspoons of pomegranate seeds to the bottom of your glass.  Place a couple thin slices of lime that have been cut in half into the glass.

Cucumber, Lemon & Melon Fruit Infused Water:

A super refreshing drink that will boost your energy and get you ready for the day. This drink will help you stay hydrated, packed with vitamin K, B vitamins, copper, potassium, vitamin C, and manganese, cucumbers can help you to avoid nutrient deficiencies that are widespread among those eating a typical American diet.

  • 1 Cup cubed honeydew melon chunks
  • 1 Cup thin cucumber slices
  • 1 Leom, sliced
  • 1 Cup ice
  • Pitcher of water
  • Sprig of basil to garnish


Place some cubed honeydew chunks and halved thin cucumber slices in the bottom of your glass.  Muddle the honeydew and cucumber slices by using a muddler or wooden spoon to slightly crush the fruit to release the flavors. Be careful not to overdo it. Fill the ice full of glass, add fresh water, wait for a few hours, and enjoy!
