How to make a cuban mojito

The ultimate, authentic Cuban mojito recipe for those down days where you just need a taste of the Caribbean in your life.

There's no denying mojitos in Cuba just taste better but this is truly the next best thing.  You may not be in a cigar smoke-filled bar listening to a live version of Bailando but you'll be feeling the Cuban vibes after just a few tiny sips.

  • Prep Time: 8 minutes

Ingredients ( 1 serving)

1 tsp sugar
Juice from 1 small lime
4 mint leaves
1 sprig of mint
1/4 cup of Havana Club white Rum
1 cup of club soda

How to make it

Put the mint leaves into a glass and squeeze the lime juice over it.

Add the  sugar, then gently crush the mint into the lime juice and sugar with a muddler or though the back of a  spoon. Add crushed ice filling the glass half way and then add the rum and stir. Finish with the club soda and garnish with sprig of mint.
